Processing giants Royal Greenland and High Liner Foods are more positive on Chinese labor availability and cost inflation in 2013.
A slowdown in the Chinese economy seen over 2012 – albeit with a recovery in Q4 – means jobs are more in demand. This applies to all labor intensive industries, including seafood processing, based mainly in the northeast coastal cities of Qingdao, Dalian and Yantai.
